Ms. Garrett's Pre-K

This is my twentieth year working at Sperry. My first year was spent as the After School Coordinator for first through third grade. The last eighteen years I have taught Pre-K. I graduated from Northeastern State University in May of 2004 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Masters in Education December of 2013. Van is my wonderful eleven-year-old son. I absolutely love working with young children. Outside of working with children, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, playing board and card games, making puzzles, and watching movies. My favorite sports are baseball, basketball, hockey, bowling and volleyball.

I am so glad to have Mrs. Valerie Blevins as my assistant. She became my assistant February 2022. Mrs. Blevins is married to Rick, has three children, and six grandchildren. Mrs. Blevins enjoys camping and gardening. She helps create a lot of activities and works with each of the students throughout the day. Without her help, we could not complete everything we do every day. Thank you Mrs. Blevins!
