6th Grade Math and English Teacher

Welcome to my home page. I am so happy to serve you and your child during his/her 6th grade year. I am a Sperry Pirate born and raised and feel it is an honor to be teaching in my home town.  I am currently beginning my 18th year of teaching. This year I will be teaching three classes of 6th grade math and one class of 6th grade English. I am eager to work together to challenge and motivate our students to be the best they can be!

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years! I have two wonderful children, a Senior and a Freshmen. I have taught Sunday school for about 20 years. My family is my joy in life, and as a result, I truly understand how precious your children are to you. I will do my very best to care and respect them as I would want my own children treated.

Sports activities with my family are a passion of mine. I was a volunteer coach for several years. I am currently the Varsity and Middle School Cheer Coach. I am excited about the opportunity to help guide these teams in leadership positions and build school spirit.
