2023-2024 Special Olympics Schedule of Events
Sperry is a Special Olympics Unified Champion School. We include all students with an array of abilities in Special Olympics as we compete in area events. Our students compete in both Fall and Spring sports. During the Fall we participate in Soccer, Bowling, Cornhole, and Cheerleading. In the Spring we participate in Bocce, Cornhole, and Golf. Special Olympics is a place where all kinds of people come together to create an environment of acceptance and inclusion, to celebrate each other and build lifelong memories and friendships!
Fall Events:
Bowling – October 4, 2023 at Owasso Lanes in Owasso. Spectators are not permitted at this event.
Soccer – October 11, 2023 at the Owasso Sports Complex. Games begin at 9:15 AM and the last game will be at 1:00 PM. There will be an awards assembly after the last game. Spectators are welcome to attend all games and the assembly.
Art, Music, and Dance– November 29, 2023 at the Catoosa High School Activity Center. Activities begin at 9:00 AM and should be completed
Cheerleading – December 8, 2023 at the 8th Grade Center in Owasso
Spring Events:
Bocce – March 29, 2024 at Owasso High School Football Field in Owasso.
Cornhole– April 12, 2024 at Owasso High School Football Field in Owasso.
Golf– April 22, 2024 at Mohawk Golf Course in Tulsa.
