Pirate Pride Shows Strong in Middle School Band
The accolades and honors received by the Sperry Band are expanding into the middle school. On April 11, the Sperry Middle School Band attended the Skiatook Band Festival and proved the Pirate tradition begins early at Sperry. The participating bands performed under the scrutiny of two judges, and Sperry Middle School Band received Superior ratings from both judges. These 6th and 7th grade musicians upheld the Sperry Band tradition of high ratings, and showed they are well prepared to step into the Sperry High School Band when their time comes.
