Sperry Public School is accepting applications for the following 2026-2027 positions:

Certified Positions:

Middle School Science Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified in at least one area of science or be elementary certified.

Middle School English Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified and highly qualified in English/language arts or Elementary Education. Experience teaching secondary school English Language Arts preferred.

Elementary Education Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma elementary education teaching certificate.  Preference will be given to candidates with certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. 

Elementary School Reading Specialist-Must have current Reading Specialist Certification and a Master’s in Reading. 

Coaching Positions:

There are currently no coaching positions open.

Support Personnel/Non-Certified:

Receptionist/Enrollment Clerk-Duties are of a wide range, including greeting visitors and answering phones, but includes entering and maintaining data on district website as well as with the State Department of Education.  Student information is entered and maintained through an online student information system.  Knowledge of basic office procedures, word processing capabilities (Microsoft Office), polite and effective communication skills, and accurate filing skills required.  Some lifting and physical labor may be required.  See job description for more complete information.

Middle School Secretary Duties include providing clerical and administrative support to the middle school principal and assisting with the daily operation of the middle school office. Responsibilities include greeting visitors and answering phones, maintaining confidential student records and attendance, assisting with school events, and communicating with students, parents, staff, and district personnel. Knowledge of basic office procedures, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, student information systems, effective communication skills, and strong organizational skills required. Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines is essential. Some lifting and physical labor may be required. See job description for more complete information.

Night Custodial Foreman- Evening foreman for custodial staff. Will supervise night shift custodial staff, provide training for new employees as appropriate, and perform general cleaning and sanitizing duties as required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb to high/difficult places, and perform repetitive motions with wrists and hands required. Two years of custodial experience in a school district, or 1 year of district experience plus 2 years of non-district custodial experience preferred. Night Custodial Foreman-job description
