Sperry Public School is accepting applications for the following positions:

 

Certified Position:

 

Elementary Special Education Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma special education teaching certificate in Mild-Moderate and be highly qualified in elementary education.  Preference will be given to candidates certified in Mild-Moderate, Elementary Education, and secondary English or mathematics.

 

Secondary English Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified and highly qualified in English/language arts.  Duties may include both middle school and high school levels.  Experience in teaching middle school English preferred.

 

Secondary Special Education Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma special education teaching certificate in Mild-Moderate and be highly qualified in secondary English or mathematics.  Preference will be given to candidates certified in Mild-Moderate and highly qualified in English and/or Intermediate Mathematics;

 

Early Childhood Education Teacher- Must have current Oklahoma elementary education teaching certificate.  Preference will be given to candidates with certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. 

 

Elementary Education Teacher- Must have current Oklahoma elementary education teaching certificate.  Preference will be given to candidates with certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. 

 

Yearbook/Journalism Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified and highly qualified in yearbook and journalism.  Experience with school yearbook preferred. 

 

 

 

Coaching Positions:

Boys High School Basketball Coach--Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate. Teaching assignment to be determined.  Additional coaching duties may include assisting with other athletic programs.  Must have Care and Prevention and have current CDL or be willing to obtain CDL.  Preference given to applicants with previous high school basketball head coaching experience and current CDL.  Send cover letter, resume, references, copy of teaching certificate, and college transcript to jobs@sperry.k12.ok.us.

 

 

 

Support Personnel/Non-Certified:

 

Part-Time Food Service Worker-Duties include running cash register, cooking, cleaning, and serving.  Experience in food-services preferred. 

 

Custodian/Head CustodianDuties include cleaning and maintaining facilities (classrooms, halls, offices, restrooms, gymnasium/locker rooms, etc.) using proper chemicals, equipment and techniques; securing buildings and locking facility doors and setting alarm system; and some lifting, carrying, and physical labor required.  Preference given to individuals with experience using industrial cleaning/maintenance equipment and materials.  Basic knowledge of effective and efficient housekeeping techniques, procedures, and equipment is required.
