Amie White
Kindergarten Teacher
Amie White has been part of the Sperry Public Schools family for 22 years. She earned her Early Childhood Education certification from Oral Roberts University and began her career with Cherokee Nation Head Start in 2004.
What she enjoys most about teaching is the opportunity to work with children and build lasting relationships with them and their families. In Mrs. White's classroom, “Our class is a family!” She wants every student to feel loved, seen, and supported while they learn and grow.
Mrs. White believes in meeting each child where they are, both emotionally and academically. She strives to create a classroom where students feel valued and encouraged as they develop the skills and confidence they need to be successful.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the movies. She also loves cats! Her favorite thing about Sperry Schools is the close-knit, family-like atmosphere and the genuine connections among teachers and students.
