Chiara Kester
Science Teacher
Chiara Kester teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Science at Sperry Public Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University–Tulsa.
Ms. Kester enjoys teaching students about science in fun and meaningful ways. Labs and experiments were always her favorite part of science, so she enjoys incorporating hands-on learning experiences into her curriculum whenever possible. She loves helping students explore science in ways that make learning engaging and memorable.
Originally from Jacksonville, Arkansas, Ms. Kester moved to Oklahoma in 2005. She is the proud mother of three children: Carlie, who is 20 and attends the University of Central Oklahoma; Brennan, who is 9 and attends Sperry Intermediate; and Micah Jr., who is 3 and attends daycare. Her family also has quite the collection of pets, including a snake, dogs, cats, and lots of fish!
Outside of school, Ms. Kester enjoys reading, watching television shows and movies, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
